Youth are active partners in the development process. Enabling them to translate their ideas into actions is our major task. Emphasizes on the civic awareness and civic issues, thus motivating and facilitating youth to act and take initiations and be informed on the issues of their concern.

We work with youth towards Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights sensitization through grass-root activities and advocacy. Provides awareness and greater involvement of young people in response to the issues related sexual and reproductive health and rights.

Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) are the global goals for sustainable development adopted by 193 member countries of United Nations on 2015, which envisions to shape up the world and make the world a better place to live in by 2030. YUWA is also working in awareness and implementation of SDGs solely and also in partnership.

Promotes youth entrepreneurship and supports upcoming entrepreneurs towards self- sufficiency. We work with youth to foster their economic initiation and promote their innovation to help them become potential entrepreneurs.

Pahichan in Province 1

On 12th- 14th July 2018, the first workshop of Youth leadership and Data was successfully conducted in Itahari Sub-Metropolitan City with 20 local youth participants.

On 16th- 18th July 2018, Youth Empowerment- Youth Leadership and Data workshop was conducted in Bhojpur among 22 participants.

In this 3 days workshop, the participants were informed about concepts of youth, their rights, leadership and skills, and were oriented about use of open data as evidence for youth-led and data driven development plan.

The participants of Itahari have come up with two evidence based action plan to aware about pollution and collect data about the education situation of the children working in the local hotels and informing about it to the local government.

The participants of Bhojpur have come up with two plans: awareness campaign regarding pollution and women friendly toilet facilities.

The aim of the Youth Leadership and Open Data Workshop is to create a network of young data leaders in their community.

After the successful completion of the workshop in Province 1, we are now coming to Province 5 and 7.
