We work with youth towards Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights sensitization through grass-root activities and advocacy. Provides awareness and greater involvement of young people in response to the issues related sexual and reproductive health and rights.

Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) are the global goals for sustainable development adopted by 193 member countries of United Nations on 2015, which envisions to shape up the world and make the world a better place to live in by 2030. YUWA is also working in awareness and implementation of SDGs solely and also in partnership.

Reaching Out Young Minds

Reaching Out Young Minds

YUWA has successfully conducted Reaching Out Young Minds (ROYM) on Gender, Sexuality and Body image. Total of 20 participant from diverse background participated in program. Session were facilitated by Sanskriti Shrestha, PMEL Officer at Right Here Right Now Nepal and Amit Timilsina, President at YUWA. Participants learned about sex, gender, gender roles, sexuality, sexuality control, body image and body shaming. Participants shared their experiences as well. The program was initiated by Sarina Dangal and Samikshya Chalise, Interns at YUWA. Reaching out Young Minds is a one day workshop organized by YUWA , targeted to young people especially college students. The objective of the workshop is to orient young people on sex , gender and sexuality and its importance of SRHR through youth dimensions. It consist of sessions on basics of SRHR, overview of youth dynamism in sex , gender and sexuality and issues of LGBTI.
