We work with youth towards Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights sensitization through grass-root activities and advocacy. Provides awareness and greater involvement of young people in response to the issues related sexual and reproductive health and rights.

Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) are the global goals for sustainable development adopted by 193 member countries of United Nations on 2015, which envisions to shape up the world and make the world a better place to live in by 2030. YUWA is also working in awareness and implementation of SDGs solely and also in partnership.

Promotes youth entrepreneurship and supports upcoming entrepreneurs towards self- sufficiency. We work with youth to foster their economic initiation and promote their innovation to help them become potential entrepreneurs.

Center for Gender and Sexuality Studies (CGSS)

YUWA has successfully completed three days course on gender and sexuality studies held from March 8th to March 10th 2018 marking International Women's Day. Gender and Sexuality Studies is a research unit under Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights department. We want to thank Ms. Mira Mishra (Prof. Gender Studies Program) , Ms. Bindu Pokharel (HoD, Gender studies Program) , Ms. Devika Rai (M&E consultant, FPAN), Mr. Amit Timilsina (President, YUWA) Mr. Kamal Gautam (National coordinator, RHRN Nepal), Rukshana Kapali (LGBTI activist), Ms. Sarita Gyanwali (Media Person) , Ms. Rusha Adhikari (Program officer, Voice of Children) , Ms. Alisha Adhikari (Social activist and Psychologist) , Ms. Sajja Singh (General Member,YUWA), Ms. Pratiksha Gurung (Communications Officer, YUWA) for wonderful sessions.

We would also like to thank our general member Saurya Dhungel for Program Coordination and participants for wonderful participation and discussion.
The center  provides a course on gender and sexuality twice a year. The course is an 18 credit hours class divided into a two-day session with 6 credit hours per day. The students will be of age below 29 years. Besides, the graduate of this center will also publish articles, reviews and other relevant publication related to issues of gender and sexuality. sexuality studies help to better understand society and its interrelation.
