Youth are active partners in the development process. Enabling them to translate their ideas into actions is our major task. Emphasizes on the civic awareness and civic issues, thus motivating and facilitating youth to act and take initiations and be informed on the issues of their concern.

We work with youth towards Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights sensitization through grass-root activities and advocacy. Provides awareness and greater involvement of young people in response to the issues related sexual and reproductive health and rights.
Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) are the global goals for sustainable development adopted by 193 member countries of United Nations on 2015, which envisions to shape up the world and make the world a better place to live in by 2030. YUWA is also working in awareness and implementation of SDGs solely and also in partnership.

Promotes youth entrepreneurship and supports upcoming entrepreneurs towards self- sufficiency. We work with youth to foster their economic initiation and promote their innovation to help them become potential entrepreneurs.
Kathmandu, 15 January,2018: YUWA, a non-profit registered organization led by youths between the age group 15-29 years, organized a charitable event ‘Balbalika Ka Lagi YUWA‘ on 13 January at Sports Hive, Jhamsikhel.
The program was organized by YUWA’s Active Citizenship Department in order to raise funds and donate warm clothes to 487 children of Kudi Bari Madhyamik School of Dolakha district. This event was aimed to directly benefit the deprived children and set an example to initiate such kind of events by other organizations as well.
The event included series of programs on face painting, photo booth, dance performances and live musical performances by renowned singers. Neetesh Jung Kunwar, Sandhya Joshi, Step On band, DJ ATR were among the performers in the event.
Supported by Thames International College Kathmandu, Nepal Mega College, Career Wings Pvt. Ltd, Outdoor Adventure Center Nepal, WAVE Magazine Nepal, Edwise Studies, Landmark Education and Riviera International Academy, this event welcomed officials from different INGOs, NGOs, government organizations,eminent colleges of the country and international organization working on such domain.
Gender and sexuality studies help to better understand society and its interrelation. Almost every areas are affected by the issues related to gender. Most affected and influenced by gender and sexuality are adolescent and youth. Understanding these cross-cutting issues related to gender could be essential for any area or sector to work smoothly.
