Youth are active partners in the development process. Enabling them to translate their ideas into actions is our major task. Emphasizes on the civic awareness and civic issues, thus motivating and facilitating youth to act and take initiations and be informed on the issues of their concern.

We work with youth towards Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights sensitization through grass-root activities and advocacy. Provides awareness and greater involvement of young people in response to the issues related sexual and reproductive health and rights.

Economic Initiation and innovation

”Self-employment is key to eradicate poverty”.

Promotes youth entrepreneurship and supports upcoming entrepreneurs towards self- sufficiency. We work with youth to foster their economic initiation and promote their innovation to help them become potential entrepreneurs.

Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) are the global goals for sustainable development adopted by 193 member countries of United Nations on 2015, which envisions to shape up the world and make the world a better place to live in by 2030. YUWA is also working in awareness and implementation of SDGs solely and also in partnership.

Connect to YUWA’s growing network. YUWA always would like to join hands with young and energetic people who want to connect themselves to the world. YUWA’s network is a group of enthusiastic, responsible and active youth friends working together to make youths issues noticed. Being into this network, you will be lending a hand to small or big initiatives of responsible youths of Nepal and the world. Come be a part of this ever growing youth family. Here’s few ways how you do it.

Yuwa Member

YUWA is open to active and enthusiastic young people between 15-29 years of age. You can work on any of YUWA thematic areas of your interest. Once a member, you will automatically subscribe to YUWA e-newsletter, YUWA network and YUWA program notifications, resources and opportunities. All you need to do is fill up online membership form, which will be reviewed by YUWA board. If we decide to select you, you may have to attend an orientation program and you are into YUWA; as easy as that!

Yuwa Participation

Even if you are not YUWA member, you can connect by participating in one or all of our various programs. YUWA organizes various trainings, camps, talk shows and campaigns related to youths. Each program will have its own criteria for selection. If you visit our website or our office regularly, you will be updated regarding our upcoming programs.

Working together always helps to make larger. YUWA looks forward to partnership with your organization if we have common areas of interest. Through partnership, we will not only share resources and ideas, but you will also be able to promote and expand your organizations by getting into our network.

YUWA volunteer is open to both national and international volunteers. Volunteering will help you learn or develop skills, gain work experience and self confidence. You will enhance your CV, but more than that, you will develop important networking contacts and communication, and most importantly you will support to make a difference in someone’ life, the joy of which has no bounds.
